Stop Turning The Other Cheek
Too many on the Right think we should not fight back
I read Kurt Schlichter’s excellent “The Debate Over Whether to Crush Our Enemies or Be Nice” and all I could do was nod my head and say yes as I read it. Essentially, Kurt is addressing the right wing/GOP attacks on the people out there that celebrated the attempted assassination of Trump by wishing that the shooter had not missed. A lot of folks on the right seem to be upset that we went and got those people cancelled. School teachers, a grandma that works at Home Depot, and more. But these people publicly said that they wanted another American dead.
Why wouldn’t that deserve cancelling? More to the point, the Left comes after us for silly things, like saying white wash and accusing us of racism for using that term and then trying to get us cancelled any way possible. These things are not equal. But if you want the latter to stop, you have to fight back and make the former painful for them. More important, if someone on my side wishes death on an American of Democratic persuasion, they should be cancelled, too.
Let me say that again.
Anyone who is vile enough to publicly wish for the death of another human being deserves everything coming to them. Sorry? Not sorry.
Kurt, in usual Kurt fashion, had this response to those wishing we could all just be nice and stop cancelling those mean ole lefties:
Now, there are truly soft wusscons who dread getting their hands dirty by being "mean" to minor players or anyone else. They insist "we are better than that," which is presumptuous. I'm not better than that; I want to fight. They are not arguing tactics; they are telling us – without putting it so honestly – that they simply don't have the stomach to do what must be done, and they don't want anyone else to either. Being mean is icky. But not everyone is suited to the infantry; we need clerk-typists too, just don't try to clothe your inability to shove a bayonet deep into our enemies' collective figurative gut as moral superiority
And so, on to my own point. Stop turning the other cheek people. Fight back. Especially those of us with a voice that reaches beyond the three people we see regularly on a daily basis.
You know why?
The rank and file of the right/conservative/GOP side of politics is sick and tired of the Left being able to say whatever evil thing they want to say and get away with it. They want to know why some blue haired, fat, whiny, gender studies major should be able to post literal murder threats without any repercussions.
Meanwhile, the folks that love America and just want to be left alone to live their lives and raise their families know that they will be cancelled hard if they suggest that Kamala Harris got her job because she's black and took good care of Willie Brown. If you want the small guys on the right to back you up, you gotta 1. Show them that the grandma at Home Depot can't just wish death on someone on the Internet and get away with it and 2. Show them that you got their back.
And most of what I'm seeing is not grandma anyway, it's commie school teachers. Nobody should have any sympathy for them. They are sponging off the government, indoctrinating our kids into communism, and running perverse pedo/trans grooming in the elementary schools. They need to be crushed and fired.
This is why W, Jeb! and Mittens are despised by 90% of Republicans and fellow travelers. It's why Trump is loved by the same folks. They are simply sick and tired of being punching bags for the Left while simultaneously watching any leftie that wants to being able to say horrible, despicable things and not be held to account.
Stop turning the other cheek. Fight back. Power and strength is the only thing the Left appreciates and understands. You turn the other cheek out of principle and they assume you are weak and come at you even harder.

If these people were in Warsaw they'd be telling the Jews "No, don't grab weapons and fight back! If you do that, you're no better than the Nazis!"
Compare to the relentless jihad the Left has waged against a Colorado baker for many, many years.
George Zimmerman got cancelled for getting out of his car in his neighborhood. School kids from Covington got cancelled because they got their pics taken. A blue collar worker got cancelled for an okay sign. Professors get cancelled because they treated students fairly and equally.
