Veteran’s Day
39 years worth
Yeah, 39 years ago, I celebrated my first Veteran’s Day doing pushups in a parking lot at Fort Knox. My drill sergeant made sure we knew what day it was and that these pushups were for us. LOL … yeah, he was a prick. And a tough man who got me ready for the tough requirements of my chosen profession.
I don’t really have anything else to say here about Veteran’s Day. Plenty of others will say plenty of words. But I do want to thank my family, my friends, and all the other soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen that I have served with over the years. Thank you for being my comrades in arms!
Here’s some pictures from over the years of my own life and times.

Have a great Veteran’s Day. I will be attending the dedication of my small town’s Veteran’s Memorial. And tonight I will be raising a drink to my missing comrades.

Ya, 1976 to 80...USAF.
Thank you for fighting for this country.
