Welcome to Security n Cigars

This blog is about my life and times. It is not a “security blog”, per se. Nor is it a cigar blog. I happen to be a security professional, though, so you may find that I write about security at times. Although I’ll only be writing about my personal opinions and thoughts on the subject. I will write a lot about the military, politics, culture, cigars, alcohol, travel, my life in general.

In my non-work hours, I spend time with my wife, our chocolate Labrador, at the local Gun Club (where I am the Chief RSO), in the backyard with the BBQ, and traveling here, there, and everywhere. We have 3 kids, all grown and living adult lives.

I do smoke cigars, drink single malt scotch and wear tuxedos as often as I can. I love Ferrari’s, but I really can’t afford one. I have a lego model of a Ferrari F1, which makes me feel a little better about the whole thing. It cost a lot less than the real F1 (~ $7 million).
