This is basically a 2003-style blog that happens to live in 2026. I write about whatever is actually on my mind — no tight branding, no lanes, no sanitizing everything so nobody gets offended.

Who I am:

Retired Army Armor NCO (scout, M60 tanker, M1 tanker) with real combat time, a background in security, and a lifelong habit of asking how things actually work. Husband, dad, wrangler of dogs, cats, and chickens. I love travel, smoking meat low and slow, sending rounds downrange, good cigars, decent whiskey, and cooking for my people.
